Addison and Madison

We babysat Madison so Sarah and Ryan could have a night off!! Madi came over on Saturday afternoon. We waited for Addie to wake up, then I took the girls to the park. After playing at the park we went home and played some more. We had dinner, than bath time, then bed. The girls had a slumber party and slept in the same room. Surprisingly it only took them 20 minutes to fall asleep! Much better than I though. Sunday I woke up to them laughing at each other in their beds (crib and pack and play) and pointing at each other. We had breakfast and then went to Sea World with Bry and Blake. We had so much fun and Madi and Addie had a wonderful sleep over.

Southern Style Potluck

After meeting Elmo, we ventured on to a Southern style potluck at the Ingold's. We had fun swimming, chatting, eating and of course lots of playing! Thanks for a wonderful afternoon.

Addie went to Safiya's 2nd birthday party and guess who the special guest was ... ELMO!! I kind of thought this might happen, but Addie was SCARED of Elmo and started crying when she saw him. She stood watching him and wouldn't get too close. At the end we went up to him and she pet him. Then she cried when he left!! Silly Addie!

One more?!

While Grammy was here she taught Addie "one more". When she can do something just one more time, she'll hold up one finger and say "one more". It is the cutest thing. Here is "one more" pic!

Obsession with Elmo

As most of you know (and your kids probably are too) Addie is OBSESSED with Elmo. It all started with ONE bath toy from the Lannon's (guess we have you to blame)! And now Addison is obsessed with Elmo. He's everywhere!! Mummu got Addie Elmo live. She tried to feed him Cheerios. He didn't eat them, but he did talk to her.

Fun with Grammy

We enjoyed having Grammy spend the week with us so much, she is moving in! JK, but we did talk about it. :) Come back soon Grammy. We miss you! And thanks so much for taking care of Addie ... and us!! Your dinners were delicious and we had fun chatting with you every night.

Mother's Day

I can't believe I am celebrating another mother's day!! Where has the time gone?!? I am so fortunate to be a mother to the most amazing daughter. This year for mother's day, we were lucky to spend the day with Addie ... and both of our mom's!! Drew's mom flew out from Tennessee to spend a week with Addie. We started out with a wonderful lunch at the Beach House, than had some beach play time. The sun was out and it was a beautiful San Diego day. Thanks mom's for spending the day with us!

Addie's school closed for a few a week due to the swine flu. Addie spent a few days up at Mummu and Grandad's house. Here are some pictures from the week.

Swim time

The Ingold's invited us over for food, drinks, and pool time! It was a beautiful day and perfect for swimming. This was Jacob's first time swimming. He did great. :) Thanks for having us.
