Backyard Fun!

We are in the process of completely redoing our backyard. We started 3 months ago ... and are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! We (and by we, I am usually referring to Drew and my dad, Paul) have ripped out the back bushes, ripped out the red tiles, and dug the new patio and bike path. It is still a work in progress, but hopefully it will be finished in the next few months.

Boating at Marina del Rey

My parents took their boat to Marina del Rey and Addie and I met Jen, Keith and kids for a day of boating! I think it was Addie's first time on the big boat and I think she enjoyed it ... after getting used to the life jacket. It was a beautiful day, but a little choppy, so we didn't get to take it out to open waters. Addie and I stayed until dinner time and left after our dinner on board.

Summer nights at Sea World

Sarah and I took the girls once again to Sea World. But this time we went after work on Friday and stayed for the night shows. Surprisingly the girls stayed up until the fireworks, but sadly they could care less about them! I thought they would be scared seeing them so close, but I was wrong. We had a fun time seeing ELMO, dinner and dancing at the Shamu show. AND Addie was lucky to get a ZOE stuffed animal ... which she now carries around everywhere!

Griffn makes another visit to SD!

The Lush's came to SD for a quick visit! It was great to see how much Griffin has grown since the last time we saw him. :)

Wheelbarrow rides!

When we were little, my dad would give wheelbarrow rides at our birthday parties as our entertainment. They were so much fun! While working on our backyard, my dad gave Addie her first wheelbarrow ride.

4th of July!!

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. We started with a visit to the Del Mar Fair. We got there right when they opened, and left a few hours later.

After nap time we headed to the Bergstrom's for some BBQ and fun. We were able to watch a few different fire works shows, thanks to their awesome view!! Addie had so much playing with Blake's toys!! Thanks for having us.
