School closed!

Addie's school was closed for staff development day. Mummu came down for the day to watch Addie for us. Jen and Kids came down to go to Sea World w/ them. I met them after work and we had dinner with Shamu! The kids manages to stay up until the fireworks, but I am not sure who fell asleep in the car first. Addie was out before we got out of the parking lot!

Del Mar races

We have been working so hard on the backyard (and by we I mean Drew and Paul) that we decided to take a break and take Addie to Del Mar race track for the pony rides and Elmo tattoos.

Last day in the infant room

Addie is graduating from the infant cottage at her school today. As of next week she'll be in the transition room. She is growing up way to fast!! Here are a few pics of her and her friends on their last day as "infants".

Another visit from Cole Walker and family

The Walkers came down to SD for a week long vacation. The weekend went by too quickly, but we had so much fun having the Walkers stay with us and getting some time to hang out with Cole.

Backyard Fun!

We are in the process of completely redoing our backyard. We started 3 months ago ... and are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! We (and by we, I am usually referring to Drew and my dad, Paul) have ripped out the back bushes, ripped out the red tiles, and dug the new patio and bike path. It is still a work in progress, but hopefully it will be finished in the next few months.

Boating at Marina del Rey

My parents took their boat to Marina del Rey and Addie and I met Jen, Keith and kids for a day of boating! I think it was Addie's first time on the big boat and I think she enjoyed it ... after getting used to the life jacket. It was a beautiful day, but a little choppy, so we didn't get to take it out to open waters. Addie and I stayed until dinner time and left after our dinner on board.
